  79. I ran into this issue last week loading a fresh install of Windows 7. Drivers I am having trouble getting the Firewire to work on this card in 7 Ultimate.

  81. How do I get Windows 10 back on this machine? This is my first time going this route with a virtual setup.

  83. Solved: Cannot install Windows XP from USB using unetbootin - When I click on default it does nothing and the timer resets.

  85. I wasn't sure what it was. After I finished wiping it, I put in my Windows 7 installation disk. The hard drive is appearing showing unallocated space and the size. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The disk may fail soon. If other hard disks are available, install Windows to another location. If I need to buy a new hard drive I'm willing to. I could be off here but I think that was it. Had to do with a variation of the install media. I sometimes get a similar issue when putting Windows 7 on windows 8 preinstalled machines at work. You need to create a partition and then Windows will install to this. I ran into this issue last week loading a fresh install of Windows 7. I clicked it hoping I would get more information for troubleshooting purposes and Bam, it went ahead and let me continue the install. If you put a replacement drive in, you will get exactly the same problem if it's not detected. Check cables, try another hard drive if you have one. Try that hard drive in another machine if you can. Thanks for all the replies. They were good suggestions, but did not fix the issue. I also tried uplugging the hard drive and plugging it back in. It has to be in another machine. 86. Hyper V or Windows - It doesn't matter. Tip: if you do not have a bootable media builder, you can to MiniTool Partition Wizard advanced editions. After you upgrade, you may no longer use the software you upgraded from. This will result in enough hair-pulling that you'll end up buying a wig. By clicking the rest of the unallocated space, we can create a data partition for our files. To fix this issue, we must press Shift+F10 to open a command prompt window. I'm really not too sure. Usually, the first one or two partitions - if there is a System Reserved Partition - belong to the previous installation.
